Commercial Description:
British brewers of colonial times utilized the preservative qualities of hops and alcohol to assure that their "pale ale" survived the long trip to colonial India. We believe this to be one of the HOPPIEST brews in the States. ENJOY!

Afine example of the IPA tradition. Amber color pour with a medium head. Hop scent and flavor with a crisp finish. A solid brew.

From a bottle poured amber with a fair amount of head. Nice light hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

I think this deserves more than a 53 overall rating. It is milder than most IPAs I like, but it has good a carbonation level. Probably a good match with a burger.

Nothing spectacular here. Pours a nice golden yellow, cream white head that lasts a long time. Bit of a fruity flavor leading to a hoppy finish. Good for the price, nothing to write home about though.

BOTTLE: A mediocre IPA. Unfiltered so it’s cloudy like a Hef, but amber in color. Not much head. Sliightly musty aroma. Too thin body. Hops character is grapefruit and bitter. Somewhat bitter aftertaste.Notably worse as it warms. Tastes like the product of a brew pub - which it turns out to be.BUY AGAIN: No

Bottle from my mom- A deep orangey copper pour. A frothy white head. Nice piney and grapefruit pith nose, with caramel, bread crust, a bit of perfume. Taste of orange peel, caramel malts, grapefruit, some apricot, a bit earthy. Lengthy bitter citric finish. Good stuff.

Hazy golden/yellow. Nice dense white head. Pine and orange aroma. Hop flavor, not too bitter with even malt balance. Nothing outstanding.
