Has some muted citrus with a damp rag hints. Has okay carbination. Mouthfell alright. Has a slightly bitterness to it but not very strong. Has an okay finish. I can taste the alcohol. This one missed for me. Maybe it was a bad bottle but lacked depth and the flavor I was looking for. I may have to try it another time. kassner (457), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 7, 2009 Bottle at Hophead75’s place. Apparently the unfiltered version? Seemed fairly filtered to me- almost entirely clear and nothing on the bottom of the bottle- bright copper and a nice head. Aroma is light on the hoppy side for an Ipa- citrus and floral with a bti metallic and crackery malt hint. More citrus hops int he flavor gets a bit stale and metallic like cascade character- with some lemon- dry doughy cracker malt backbone and the end with a raw harsh bitterness that also has some metallic hints. Smell was citrus fruit, along with light pine and hoppiness.
