| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 3, 2009 12oz bottle. Poured a dark straw yellow color with a finger of head. Smell was citrus fruit, along with light pine and hoppiness. Taste had a decent hop bitterness with citric flavors of lemon and grapefruit. had a malt sweetness that finished with a nice dry bitterness. Somewhat thin, but with excellent carbonation checkmatei1 (630), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 27, 2009 Not really what you’d typically think of as an IPA, but very good. It’s not overally hopped (Probably while I liked it so much), so I don’t get the brewers comments about this being the "hoppiest beer in the states." The aroma was piney, and the mouth feel sharp and tingly. Bitterness was subtle, on the back of the tongue. Definitely very citrusy. A nice white head. Would makea good beer on a cold summer night. coharahawk (87), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 26, 2009 Draft. The waitress brought me the wrong beer...oh well. Fairly typical in appearance for a pale. Nothing to exciting in the aroma, but does have some slightly floral notes. Taste is more along the lines of an APA. I love the comment, "We believe this to be one of the HOPPIEST brews in the States." Haha, that’s a good one. Alldaydrinker (558), Norwood, Massachusetts, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 21, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a pale golden color with small white head. Aroma is piney, sweet, fruity, floral, but weak. Taste piney, bland, floral, mild hop balance. Body is light and watery. Very weak IPA. boFNjackson (1318), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 28, 2008 Bottle... Poured a hazy, yellow-gold with a white head--nice lacing. Floral hops on the nose and maybe fresh herbs and fruit. Dry palate with mostly hops and candy sweetness probably from the malt and fermentation. Finished crisp with crackers and barley-grains. badwhale (51), Bitterville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 24, 2008 Disappointing. Good golden color. Not much head. Plain taste. Not that hoppy as to be expected from an IPA
