Well defined hop nose with a bit of a floral scent in the background. Flavor is mildly sweet up front with a good balance of hops in the finish. Flavor doesn’t last for too long in comparison to other IPAs. sneezey (110), Hackettstown, New Jersey, USA

Small white head w/o much lace. Nose is of hops w/some light fruity aroma. The hops dominate the flavor. It is an IPA. The finish is bitter w/a lingering aftertaste. bellasierra2 (16), absecon, New Jersey, USA

Tastes of hops and orange peel. Slight sweetness and citrus. Sweet middle with bitter finish. Nice crisp palate that seems a little dry. A different IPA, I must say. Very Enjoyable. yesyouam (602), Fairport, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 11, 2007 Long Trail IPA is a hazy golden ale with many small particles, topped by a rocky, frothy white head that mostly diminishes but leaves excellent lacing. It has a heavily-hopped aroma of tangerine, pine, perfume, garam masala and something that reminds me of that fresh brewpub cask whiff. It is light to medium bodied-- perhaps a bit thin. The carbonation is soft and the finish is quick and clean. The flavor starts moderately acidic and bitter and ends up lightly sweet and heavily bitter-- a bit top-heavy with tangerine and arbor vitae. The finish is suprisingly short. It’s a good IPA. jkoch (41), USA
