Commercial Description:
British brewers of colonial times utilized the preservative qualities of hops and alcohol to assure that their "pale ale" survived the long trip to colonial India. We believe this to be one of the HOPPIEST brews in the States. ENJOY!

This beer has a nice golden color with a sweet smell of hopps and malt. There is a nice bite initally and it mellows as you drink it. i really enjoy the mouth watering hopps that stay in the palate.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy pale golden body with thin head. Aroma is of light citrus, a big malty presence. Flavor is light citrus, sweet malt. A very low key flavor but very drinkable. This isn’t a bad beer but it just didn’t stand out, it just blends in with all the middle of the road beers.

Pours light orange/golden with a small white head. Mainly semi-sweet citric aroma, with a small note of earthy hops. Citric hop flavor with a decent amount of bitterness, but no malt to speak of. Palate is a bit light, bitter, and on the watery side. Nice crisp refresher, but no balance due to the lack of malt.

On tap @ Colter Bay. Not really impressed by this IPA. Not really hoppy as i would like. Malts sem to drown it out. Had a sip & gave it to my brother in law. Ordered a Burning River instead

Hazy cold color with very light hoppy nose. More malt on the nose than hops. Flavor is a little more on the citrus side, a decent balance with the malt. Finish is slighly bitter.

Alright. Not good for an "IPA" but better than your average lager or such. I’d buy a case for say...20 bucks.

A decent IPA from this reliable brewer. Drinks fine from the bottle. Refreshing and easy to drink with a decent spiciness.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber-gold with an average size lasting off-white head. Very mild light hop aroma -- too simple and pretty ’blah’. Flavour of faint hops and light caramel malt is pretty dull as well -- barely any hops or flavour here. Light to medium bodied. A disappointing, boring IPA, I wouldn’t get it again.
