Commercial Description:
British brewers of colonial times utilized the preservative qualities of hops and alcohol to assure that their "pale ale" survived the long trip to colonial India. We believe this to be one of the HOPPIEST brews in the States. ENJOY!

An orange beer with a small white disappearing head. The aroma is sour and slightly hoppy. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and a sticky mouthfeel. This reminds me of a pilsener, not at all of an IPA.

Light orange body with big white head. Smell is earthy hoppy, slightly sweet. Flavor is sharp earthy hoppy, with strong bitter aftertaste. Nothing to balance it -- nothing floral, limited sweetness and no maltiness.

Poured a light to medium golden color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of flowers and light grass. Tastes of flowers and light caramel. Aromas and tastes on the weaker side. Thinner body.

Pours a clear golden with a thin wispy white head. Fresh green orange citrus and piney hoppy aroma. Body starts with a light pale malty sweetness thinning some toward a bitter lightly tart finish. An ok IPA but could use some more flavor hops.

Bottle at Spring Brewtopia 2005... Clear, yellow ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Malty and fruity aroma with notes of butterscotch, toffee and apple blossom honey. Flavor has a good malt backbone. It’s very generously hopped and dry with lots of toffee and grapefruit rind. Medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Lengthy, crisp, moderately bitter finish.

Very dissapointing. Orange coloured. Aroma and flavour are lager-like. Slightly metallic finish. Rather thin. Not very hoppy at all.

Passionate hop flower bitterness…Some aged cheese…A delicate balm of an I.P.A….
