JPDIPSO (4397), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Aug 10, 2008 Golden color, with a small off-white head. Light milk caramel and slightly grassy hops scents. Creamy malt flavors, akin to a kolsch or a cream ale. Light citric (lemon) flavor creep in in the middle and continue to build into the finish and linger. I’m left with a lemon zest flavor at the end and I feel I need some sugar to help sweeten the lemonade. I enjoy the beginning much more the the ending.
boFNjackson (645), Portland, Oregon, USA Dec 28, 2008 Bottle... Poured a hazy, yellow-gold with a white head--nice lacing. Floral hops on the nose and maybe fresh herbs and fruit. Dry palate with mostly hops and candy sweetness probably from the malt and fermentation. Finished crisp with crackers and barley-grains. badwhale (39), Bitterville, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 24, 2008 Disappointing. Good golden color. Not much head. Plain taste. Not that hoppy as to be expected from an IPA Rciesla (1580), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Dec 24, 2008 Bottle. Pours a thin amber body with a thin off white head. Light citrus hop body with a light bitter pine and grapefruit. nothing crazy here. BeerHawk (864), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA Dec 21, 2008 Bottle. Poured a hazy pale with a white head that settles to a ring and left light lace. Aroma of grass and citrus. The flavor finds hoppy citrus with a malt balance. Medium body and a mild bitterness throughout. Shag (1823), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA Dec 6, 2008 This poured a copper color with a white head. The aroma contains some perfume and citrus mainly oranges. The flavor is rather tame with more oranges showing through. Overall a pretty boring IPA but might work for some session drinking.
