| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 3, 2008 Draft at Capone’s. Pours deep coppery, approximating the color of amber glassware. Nose is caramel malt, hops, spirity cognac, citrus. Tastes caramel malty, with hops, citrus, figgy fruit, and mild nuttiness. As it warms, it gets somewhat hot, but the flavors sort of approximate a low-end cognac somewhat, so that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. TomDecapolis (3214), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA
