Jan 5, 2007 Cloudy dark golden color with distinct orange....a light scented brew with a crisp flavor profile like the original long trail ale...very tasty straight out of the bottle...not the greatest IPA aftertaste almost as if the citrus fruits are starting to turn a tad..oh man i turned a 40 to a 39...:(

Dec 6, 2006 Pours a hazy golden orange, with a minimal head. The nose is grainy and grassy. Light sweet malt, but smells more like a lemony hopped up wheat. The palate is a little fizzy, but not overly carbonated, with some graininess. The flavor is strong and unrefined. Not particularly clean. Grassy grainy wheaty flavors predominate. Some lemony citrus. The finish has some floral points, but as that clears up to be the after taste, earthy flavors come in. This isn’t bad, but it isn’t great.

Dec 6, 2006 It looks cloudy and orange. Its hoppy, fruity (citrusy like orange, but also apple), grainy, and grassy. The flavor and aroma are similar, but there is somethign weird about the aroma so the flavor gets an extra point.

Dec 2, 2006 Rather heavy pine aroma. Hazy dark yellow with thin head. No lacing. A bit grassy as well. Palate is light, not super gritty, some hops in the palate lasting into the finish.

Nov 28, 2006 Updated: Nov 29, 2006Beer mug, from bottle. Label has place for "bottled" date, but I can’t find any. Bought and sampled Nov ’06. One-finger white head, fades to thin bubbles; fair lacing. Cloudy (unfiltered), pale, orangey yellow-gold color. Aroma of orange and lemon, slight mustiness. Body is medium-light with mild carbonation, mouthfeel shows only slight oiliness. Flavor is tangy citrus. Finish has a soapy quality. Not the best IPA, but I’ll finish this 6-pack.

Nov 19, 2006 (bottle - 12 oz) Cloudy gold in color with a thick and puffy white head. Aroma is loaded with citrus. Lots of grapefruit and grassy flavors. Some hops. Flavor begins grassy and slightly bitter with a bready and earthy middle and spicy finish that has lots of grapefruit and, randomly, cookie dough. Watery. I don’t really know how I feel about this one... actually it wasn’t all that great/

Oct 28, 2006 Slightly musty aroma with a coniferous tinge. Fairly cloudy in appearance, deep golden. Fairly grassy flavor with some residual lemony flavor. The watery texture detracts from the presentation. Not too good.
