Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Hazy golden, mid-sized airy head. Appley nose. Fairly sweet with medium body. Fruity and a bit grainy with notes of hay and orange. Much less aromatic and with less bling bling and shiny hop surface than most American IPAs. Instead it is in possession of depth and soul. This, minus the appley nose, would be something great. Finishes with increasing balanced bitterness. A timid, introvert IPA, made for those who look beyond the search for BIG flavours.

(12oz bottle) Creamy off-white head atop hazy apple juice body. Nice lacing. Aroma is moderately sweet, grapefruit/pine, some orange, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, caramel, lemon/herbal. Creamy light-medium body with light acidity.

12oz bottle. Opened to a loud Pssst and proceeded to poure all, and I mean all, off white head. Eventually settled into a deep and cloudy golden color. Aromas of citrus and wet grains. Tastes of citrus, spicy and the same graininess.

12oz bottle-pours a big foamy to rocky white head that laces and hazy yellow/gold color. Aroma is nice perfumy, sweet apricot/lemon-hops. Taste is mild perfumy, slight bitterness, sweet lemon hops, secondary medium malt. Some raw/dry hops at the finish. OK/mild carbonation. Nice session IPA.

Pours a cloudy amber with a generous white head. Smells of pine resin, some bitter citrus and some tarte malt. Tastes a bit of oranges, some pine resin, a touch of anise, lemon and some malty tinges. Finish is crisp and resreshing. I hope this one becomes a regular rotation of theirs.

My Bottom Line:
This friendly India Pale Ale showcases citrusy hops and wort-like base cereals in a slightly watery body which concludes in a decent wooden hop bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the veiled golden sunshine.
-The body is slender and healthy, increasing drinkability.
-The hop signature seems to be different from that of their beautiful Double IPA.
-This is a nice introduction to the style for neophytes, but might be too run-of-the-mill for craft beer lovers to start raving about it.

On tap at the brewery pub.

Pint at the brewery. As always with IPAs, freshness is the key. Hazy pale golden pour with a thick and sticky white head that leaves a lingering lace all down the glass. The nose is quite nice with prominent aromas of grapefruit and orange peel along with a zesty spiciness. Fresh and fruity tasting with a bit of lingering zesty hoppiness. Really, it’s quite an appealing pint. It tastes so much better than I recall... so much so that I think I’ll have another. Pale golden, quite cloudy with a thin white head. The aroma is lightly hoppy with a touch of lemony citrus. A soft spicy hoppiness with a lot of lemon over the top. Decently hoppy with a soft sweet maltiness to balance. It’s basic, but decent. 7 3 6 3 12

12oz bottle. Hazy golden straw color. Nose is a bit weird, more tin and plastic than anyone would like, but also with a nail polish remover chemical note underneath some generic grassy hop oil and lime scents. Salty taste of cut grass, leafy, but also more of this chemical flavor with a bit of an oily texture. not a complete disaster, but a pretty average IPA at best.
