Commercial Description:
Our holiday beer is a rich, malty and generously hopped ale. The intense hopped character is balanced by a caramel malt flavor and body but still has a noticeable bitterness. Unlike traditional winter holiday brews, our Celebration Ale uses no spices or fruits for flavoring. The alcohol content is also above average with an ABV between 6.5% and 6.8%. Be sure to enjoy the holidays in style with our popular Celebration Ale.

on tap-pours an off white head and amber color. Aroma is sweet malt, secondary hops. Taste is bitter grapefruit rind hops, secondary malt-sweet/caramel. OK carbonation.

On tap at the brewpub. Was at the bar with AdamSkillin (who is now a bartender at LVP&B). Supposedly this year’s batch is at a slightly higher ABV, 7% or slightly higher. Definitely a full beer, generous malt, generous hops. Kind of like a winter warmer but with some cascade hops. Real good stuff. p.s. The nachos flung me against the ropes and clotheslined me as I flew back.

i had this beer on tap at the bar.GREAT BEER! Amber in color big white head and just he right amount of bitterness for a big beer. They are calling it a Strong English Ale, but I think i detected a hint of cascade hops, was quite pleasant. The bar tendr said it was about 7.5%abv

This beer is a celebration of the winter solstice. So if you drink it, you’re definitely a pagan. But, if you’re thinking about doing a naked dance in the woods, please pick up a growler of Celebration Ale (actually, you just missed it, you’ll have to wait for next year’s batch) They advertise it as "intensely hopped." I wouldn’t say intensely, but it has a delightful hop fragrance, with some malt to back it up. Sort of like your posse.

Tap at LVBP. Amber in color with a nice white head. Hoppy and malty. Nicely balanced. Nice hoppy character. Malty. Easy drinking. Smooth. Decent.

Tap at LVBP. To be honest, this is the best brew that I have had at this BP in a long time. Distinctively hoppy aroma, with some maltiness. Flavor has a nutty maltiness to it that is rather pleasant. Nice hop character in the flavor and bitterness. Very malty balance. Easy drinking, yet packs a bit of a punch. Would satisfy the beer geek as well as the common-folk.
