hophead75 (1773), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Jul 30, 2006 sampler. Poured off nitrogen at the brewpub. Amber with a creamy head. Aroma is earthy and floral hops and some sweet caramel. Taste is floral hops up front with sweet caramel malt in the backbone of the beer, an assertive hop bitterness and dry finish. once again, one of the better EPA’s I’ve had so far. Brewer is doing a really good job at Long Valley. jcwattsrugger (4272), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jul 21, 2006 nitrogen tap-pours a retaining creamy white head that laces with copper color. Aroma is faint hops. Taste is hops with a flat bite. Mild carbonation.
AdamSkillin (375), High Bridge, New Jersey, USA Jun 28, 2006 Updated: Apr 8, 2007Joe did it nitrogen dispensed this time, beautiful copper color, dry-hopped with that earthy golding thing coming off just perfect. A great summer-drinking beer not as assertive as IPA but with more kick than the best bitter. Ps I worked at LVP&B when I rated this mkobes (2065), paramus, New Jersey, USA Feb 14, 2004 Yellow in color. Hoppy and malty. Well balanced. Pleasant beer to drink. Enjoyable. Sweet. MaiBockAddict (1499), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA Feb 13, 2004 Clear Orange yellow with a typical slight white tap head.Slight hop aroma with some off notes, but not severe enough to really detract in a pub setting. Flavor is hoppy yet rather sweet with a good malt flavor. A toch of harshness in the aftertaste. Overall pleasant and drinkable.
