Commercial Description:
This Belgium influenced ale is created by re-fermenting loads of whole raspberries with a lightly hopped Blonde ale. The resulting beer has a refreshing raspberry flavour with a slightly tart finish.

Bottle (mine says 5.0%). Pours a bright red-orange with a frothy white head. Fresh juicy raspberry aroma with some bready malt. Tangy raspberry fruit palate, on the edge of being sour, slightly stemmy. This is real fruit all the way, and for that it gets top marks from me!

Pours a bright pink with a great thick head with decent retention. Promising aroma - very fresh raspberries! Taste disappoints - watery and thin, lightly tart. No complexity or malt character. Good carbonation, thin watery body. Drinkable, but what’s the point?

(Draught) Strong raspberry nose. Very seedy flavour and lightly tart and somewhat woody. Pinkish head settles to the tim atop a copper body. Good.
