Draft at the brewpub. Hazy yellow with a nice white froth. No lacing. Aroma is bubblegum, banana oil, and light cloves. Flavor is just about identical. Too much bubblegum for me, tastes kinda like artificially flavored banana candy. Medium-thin body, nice effervescence.

On tap at the brew pub. Easily the best offering they had last night. Yeasty, with notes of coriander, cloves, banana and bubble gum. One of the best Hefe’s I’ve had at a brew pub, as well as one of the better ones from the West Coast.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy gold with a creamy head. Big clove, banana, and bubble-gum aroma. The flavor has nice banana and spice going on, with a little sweetness and low bitterness. Light and has ample carbonation. A nice hef; reminds me of Franziskaner, but with a little bit more hef yeast character. this was a big surprise, as I wasn’t too impressed with their other beers. Well done along traditional Bavarian lines. A definite notch above most other brewpub hefs that I’ve coma across.

Draft. Hazy straw color with a whitish head. Low wheat and malt flavor. Wheat flavor with some clove and banana. Medium body. Lingering spice/wheat. Nice balance. Not bad. Best beer of their’s that I had.

One of the two beers that I actually remember having here. Very clovey and banana aroma. Pours yellowish and hazy with a small head. Flavor is strong banana, clovey esters etc. Pretty standard German Hefe. Pretty thin and very drinkable.

Decent hefeweizen with good ester profile. Lots of flavor to this guy, unlike most of their other beers. I would order it again.

The appearance is very cloudy with a white head, as a good hefe should be. Strong banana and citrus aroma. I really like a good hefe, but this seemed lacking to me. There description mentioned a bubblegum overtones. Maybe that played a part in my mind, but I thought it was just ok.

Tap. Hazy golden color with a laced white head. The aroma has lemon, banana, coriander, and orange peel. The best beer they had on tap.
