Bottle at the Ealing beer fest. Aroma is smallish cornish malts, floural and herbal hops. Taste is similar, but malt dominated, with some pepperyness too.

Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [150908]

Dec 5, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Light sweet malty aroma and acidic cornish. Sweet malt flavoured, mild caramel and a vague grassy hoppy and bitter on the back of the tongue. Light bitter finish.

Oct 29, 2008 Shared with Oldrtybastrd. This was better than expected as water and corn mix. This was smooth but enough bitterness to round out the beer.

Oct 28, 2008 Bottle: Golden colored pour with medium sized white head. Malty, citrusy, hoppy aroma. Sweet, malty, bitter finish.

Pleasant crisp malty aroma accentuated by grassy hay. Clear straw appearance with a lasting, lacy, thin, white cover. Above average Helles--actually more like a Pils/Helles hybrid, with a significant hops flavour and bitterness that is more than stabilizing. Hay and biscut flavour with some zesty citrus notes and just a tiny bit of ethanol. Crisp with medium carbonation and a good sweet/bitter/carbonation balance.
