Bottle (75 cl) from Ölbutikken. Deep mahogny, medium beige head. Fruity and spicy aroma, with notes of juniper, plums, figs. Quite alcoholic. Medium bodied and smooth. Sweet and bitter in a disharmonic combo. A bit messy.

1 pt 1.4 fl oz (75 cl?) bottle thanks to ekstedt!
2008 version
Shady red color, light brown head. Acidic, lactic, spicy scent, also some red apples and pineapple juice. Salty, lactic, alcohol, dry spicy taste. Warming alcohol. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Hard to continue drinking.
The more I drink the more I lower my rating, so I just poured it out, with the belssing of ekstedt and deft...

750, 2008 bottle. Poured redish brown with no real head. Aroma is vinous, with dark fruit, sweet malt, light spice (rosemary presumably). Taste is sweet, malty, raisin, lightly oaked, somewhat tart (?). Mouth is a litte thin, with no real carbonation, though it’s also a little sticky. Not a bad brew, though I’m not sure if mine may have had lower carbonation than others. Also, I didn’t really pick up on any brett, which commercial description says was added at bottling. Again, not bad, but I wasn’t really blown away either. It definitely gets points for being unique.

0.75 l bottle at Konttori, Tampere. Dark reddish brown color with fading head. Sweet raisiny and vinous aroma with hint of barnyard. Raisiny, vinous and red wine like flavor with some alcohol sharpness, oak and meat broth. Sweet and full bodied, not so drinkable.

Pours dark brown with minimal tan head. Very sweet flavor with the raisin infused flavor coming to the forefront. Finishes with lingering sweetness from the sweet fruity flavor. A little too overpowering.

750 mL into tulip. Pours a cloudy dark brown with yeast floaties and a modest tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, black currant, prunes, brown sugar, molasses, and some herbal/floral notes (rosemary?). Taste is a little thin and is not unlike lemon and lime soda (not Sprite but maybe Sierra Mist). The sourness is then balanced by prunes, ginger, lavender, rose hips. Very strange but fun and interesting.

Poured very dark brown with a medium brown head. Smelled of tons of dark fruits, prunes, molasses, and reeked of raisins. Taste was just way too overpowering of raisins. I hate raisins, so this really didnt agree with my pallet. Mouthfeel was too thick. The dark fruits just sat on my tongue and I couldnt wait to have it wash clean.

Pours almost black. No head to speak of. Aroma is all raisins and honey. Flavor is strongly of anise, laying back to a sweet, understated finish. Wants to have a viscous mouthfeel, but it dies off too quickly. Obviously a strong, dark ale, but falls a bit short of what I imagine was intended. A good way to start a night, not so hot for a finish...
