Bottle. No head and kind of flat. Not sure but may have gotten a flat bottle based on what others have reported. Tasted great though with dark dried fruits and raisons coming through. A really nice spicyness that I really enjoyed. Great beer.

Bottle shared by wolf. Black in color, good frosty white head. Aroma was dark fruits, raisons, figs. Taste was sweet raisons other fruits, and a little spiceyness. I couldnt pick up on any of the sour (brett) in there. Texture and carbonation level were good as well. Overall a solid beer.

Bottle thanks to Hophead22. Thanks for this. Poured clear dark brown with nice average tan head. Aroma was raisin, dark fruits, and malt. Taste is very nice on the palate and well balanced with raisin, malt, dark fruits, and some spice. texture was smooth with the right amount of carbonation. Enjoyed.

Pours a hazy dark deep brown, with an average sized an head. Aromas of malt, a bit of caramel, and some yeast. Flavors add some dark fruits, raisins, and some bitterness at the end.

750ml bottle with thanks to WeeHeavySD from a trade in June of 2007, so at least a year old, but maybe a bit older. Thanks Jon! Pours a clear dark ruby brown with a sizable fizzy yellowish tan head that slowly settles to a thin cap, moderate retention and minor lacing. Aroma is ripe dark fruits, raisin and plums, along with hints of vanilla, caramel, nutmeg and other warm spices. Flavor is more ripe fruits, light spice; a sour note on the finish that works well. A well rounded enjoyable cool weather treat that opened up nicely as it warmed, thanks again Jonathan!

Thanks BOLTZ7555 for this awesome beer. Pours a dark cloudy brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruit, and some spices. It also has some aroma of a sour beer that I really like. Flavor was great, it was sweet and sour at the same time. Really glad I was able to try it...I might have to get some more;

Murky brown black tea like pour with basically no head beyond a few off white bubbles. Not to aromatic, some spice, cloves? Maybe plain yohgurt. Taste is superb: sweetness up front with dried fruit and honey, sour backbbone and a spicy, noticable rosemary finish. Minimal carbonation with a nice coating palate. This is a fine, fine beer!

Bottle. [thank you, myrup]
Pours deep dark chestnut brown with a small, staying, creamy, light-beige head. aroma has laurels, cloves, vanilla, cinnamon, roasted malts, plums, hazelnuts and chocolate. Actually a bit Christmas-y. Low carbonation with a nice, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is great, good, fruitiness with raisins, plums and a bit of hops. Coriander, lightly roasted with some hazelnuts. Brilliant aftertaste with dry chocolate. o sign of the alcohol. Really wonderful.
