Bottle courtesy of BFC that I brought to Where the Wild Beers Are at The Gate. Pours a just clear, but still slightly hazed brown to light black with a thin white head. Caramel, roast, chocolate, raisins. Chocolate, light funk, plum/prune. Finishes up with a dry spicy note.

Mahogany pour with a small off-white head. The aroma is roasty and smoky with some cocoa and floral brett. Flavor is raisins, dates, alcohol, and smoke with a dry brett finish. Oily medium body with lots of carbonation.

Tap @ Hulmeville Inn. Dark pour with almost no head. Chocolate, dark fruits, and slight alcohol. Alright brew, unfair to be put up against RR temptation.

750ml bottle (2009 Vintage) served in a tulip. Murky dark brown pour with some mahogany highlights and a one-finger thick head of creamy, lasting tan foam. Nice, thick rings of lacing. The aroma had chocolate, raisins, candi sugar, spicy yeast, and some fruity brett notes. The flavor included bittersweet chocolate, cardamom, spices, raisins, light honey, and some fruity brett. The brett notes fit into place quite nicely. The mouthfeel was full-bodied and lush. Very soft on the tongue. LIght, crisp carbonation. Good stuff!

On tap at Capones. Pours almost black with nice amount of tan head that lingered in the glass. Has a woody, malty, raisin smell. At first you taste the rosemary, then it turns into a smokey, raisin taste. Very different beer.

Pours a deep dark brown with a nice one inch thick tan head. ARoma of dark fruit. Tastes of raisins, roasted malt, spice. Has an alcohol taste to the finish.

I just grabbed a growler of this from Malt and Vine in Redmond, WA. Pours a nearly black brown with a thin tan head. A bit fruity tasting, likely due to the raisins, with a rich sweet toffee flavor. Chocolate is noticable as well. Not a lot of carbonation, at least not in what I got. It also has a nice light alcohol burn to it.
