FRO Throwdown: Densely cloudy yellow. Tight foam. Nice footy blue cheese nose, with toasty melba toast malts. Flavor is dry and leathery with a touch of hay.

Bottle. Clear dark gold with a foaming white head. Soft, earthy aromas of mild barnyard, with dry hay and dusty spices., peppercorn. Medium body with a silky smooth mouthfeel. Great farmhouse yeasty flavors with light dusty pale malts, some citrus, with hay and a dry spice show to finish. What an awesome fucking Saison !

Pours a yellow hue, pillowy white head, hazy clarity. Nose is banana, cloves, spices, bret, hops. Flavor is light fruits and spices, yeast, funk, light grassy hops, finishes sweet. Medium-bodied, smooth and creamy texture, moderate carbonation. A well-balanced saison with bret lurking in the background and nice hop complement.

RBSG @ Lost Abbey. Poured a hazed yellow color with a white head. The aroma is yeast with a light spice and mild brett character. The flavor had a semi-sweet middle that dried more to the finish. Light fruitiness and citrus with a long bretty bitter finish. Some warming sensation.

750ml bottle....pours a clear golden yellow orange with a thin white head... grapefruit and pineapple juice nose, very light on the funk.... strong flavors. pineapple and citrus and dry but not as bone dry as the squatters. lively carbonation and mouthfeel. not spiced up as much which is a general change of pace from other american saisons.... 8/4/8/4/15
