Bottle [Sk8viking great American blind tasting] Large creamy like white head that mostly lasted. Cloudy orange – golden color. Good display of lacework. Aroma of coriander, fruit, citrus, caramel and mild pepper. Over the palate came bitter orange peel and again coriander. Medium to full boded with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated bitter and sweet flavor. Somewhat lingering bitter spicy like finish. 6 / 3 / 7 / 3 / 15 = 3.4 GeneralGao (3057), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 26, 2008 750ml bottle. Pleasant aroma of flower blossoms, fruit pastry, spices, and yeasty bread dough. Poured a clear light orange color. The head was fluffy, white, and retained its height well. Some lace was left behind on the glass at the end. Light bodied with a touch of sweetness up front followed by a dry finish. Tasted of yeasty bread dough, flowery hops, fleshy fruit, a splash of orange liqueur, baking spices, and the slightest hint of white wine vinegar. There was also a dash of black pepper at the end. Pretty good stuff. robforbes (1099), Bremerton, Washington, USA
