Controlled pour gets a clear yellow body with a white sticky head. Fruity pear and white grape nose along with some soft and delicate yeast, mellow and smooth. Fresh, moderately thick, a bit sticky, mildly tart and yeast-heavy. In fact I think it’s all yeast, and it’s quite good. Dry pears, dried grapes, soft citrus bitterness, it’s really nice. kp (8399), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Smells of sweet orange citrus and malts, some clove and coriander show up as well. The flavor is heavy on those two spices, along with some more of that orange peel, and mild funk. Heavy carbonation, some caramel in there too, which was unusual. Easy drinking, but not overly flavorful. Not my favorite that they’ve done. kmweaver (2463), Sebastopol, California, USA

Pours a slightly viscous, honey color; white head with medium-bubbled lacing. Plenty of honey, sugar, and yeast in the aroma. Medium mouthfeel: sticky honey, Belgian sugar, and basic toasty malts upfront; lots of sweetness and stickiness and viscosity for a saison. Lengthy finish: candy / Belgian sugar, yeast, and honey; still sweet. ryan (1776), Beltsville, Maryland, USA
