Nose is fruity, spicey, lightly hopped, and yeasty. Taste is similar with some light sweet malt, kind of like a triple. Body is light and carbonated. Overall, a nice refreshing brew. aplusbreaks (330), , Colorado, USA

Aromas of spice, a but of pepper, some citrus and pears, and some maltiness. Flavor is very much the same with the some hops. Decent blonde ale. Ernest (4515), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Head is initially large, frothy, white, mostly lasting.
Body is medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers), lightly yeasty (cobwebs, basement), with light notes of pepper, lemon zest, sugarless chewing gum.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium body, velvety/oily texture, lively carbonation.
Very odd...on the surface it’s a cool Belgian blonde that seems to be in the vein of RR Redemption, albeit a bit stronger. There are some weird characters underneath, though, that made it difficult to really enjoy. First is this waft of artificially sweetened gum (Trident was what snapped in my head immediately), almost chemical-like. A minor note in an otherwise enjoyable aroma, but hard to ignore. Worse, though, is the aftertaste, which is a lasting, tongue-coating, saccharine sweetness and slickness that threatens to ruin the mouth experience. Rather disappointing. drfabulous (1285), Columbia, Missouri, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 13, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of caramel apple/candied apple/whatever the hell you call the apple dipped in caramel, melon, very rich malt with hints of butterscotch and even molasses, hint of candi sugar. Flavor remains quite rich and sweet, though not syrupy at all, delicious caramelish malts with more fruits, including citrus, a hop bitterness kicks in at the end, leaving the mouth balanced and ready for more. Pretty creamy body for a Belgian, especially at the beginning, hops then dry it out a touch. Very nice. LilBeerDoctor (1548), East Setauket, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy light orange with a very small white head. Aroma of raisin, apple, pear, lots of fruits. Flavor is very similar--lots of fruits (grapes, apples, pears, melons, lemons, citrus) with a slightly hoppy finish (although not as hoppy as others have mentioned, but I’ve had this beer chilling in my fridge for a few months). Nice and drinkable. Very tasty!
