Poured out a hazy tangerine color, with a thin tan head. Aromas are of Noble hops, earthy & sweet. Sweet malts, along with citrus round out the aromas. Flavors include citrus, earthy hops, some barnyard and damp basement. Medium mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Smooth and silky on the palate. Finished somewhat dry & minerally. santos999 (318), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 9, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Naka. Fruity nose. Brett, dusty barnyard, light horseblanket. Bit of sourness and light bitterness, too. Overall, a mild nose. Medium golden amber, clear without the dregs, with light off-white lacing head. Medium body with light carbonation. Starts fairly dry with decent bitterness. Good hoppy quality and grainy wheat character. Funky taste in there, too. Nice, but not overly exciting. Bitter dry hop finish with medium bitter after. dpjuart (670), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours semi-cloudy orange with rimming white head. Slightly lemon and spice nose with some weird funk. Lots of hops at the end. Bitter and alcohol notes overtake a slightly bready and malty backbone with some spicy yeast notes. Slightly oxidized taste, some funk. Just ok, not really stand out. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 8, 2008 Pale amber with a fleeting head. Good spicy, black pepper, yeasty and euro hop aroma. Medium body and smooth. Nice flavor starts with a touch of sweetness, then quickly turns to dusty pale malts and spicy dry hops to finish. Nice subtle flavors here, reminds me of the Carnevale.
