urbnhautebourg (934), Annapolis, Maryland, USA Jun 24, 2008 I liked how this beer is essentially a hop bomb, but just doesn’t come across that way. Perhaps it’s the label. That’s it. The label, showing a calm, pastoral setting, lacks that bravado one sees on the labels of super-hopped beers and the effect is to make me study the nuances of this fascinating brew. This has all of the citrus fruit elements that I would expect, but there is some really nice light malt and yeast flavors which lift this above the ordinary hop monster. Very good stuff.
