On tap at Blind Lady in San Diego. Mostly clear bright golden color with a creamy one-finger white head and some lacing. Aroma is yeast, pale malt, cereal grains, and citrus hops. Flavor is pale malt, mild grain, lots of yeast, and bitter grapefruity hops. Palate fairly lively with medium-light body and a bitter finish. Good Belgian golden ale overall.

Aroma is of citrus, some yeast, floral, perfume.
Flavour is of light spice, soap, floral, citrus and yeast.
Lightly bitter mouthfeel, med body, mod carb.
Finishes floral with a light sweetness.
Another in the long line of fairly basic but good Lost Abbey beers.

Nov 22, 2009 Pours orange with minimal head. Slightly hazy. Aroma is pine, some citrus, and maybe a little earthiness. I am rating this beer without knowing what Lost Abbey intends for it to be. It seems to me like a an American Pale Ale with a slight Belgian yeast funk. Although I might be imagining the funk… Bitterness is mild, although certainly present. Mouthfeel is medium. Flavor is nicely balanced between tart citrus and pine and bitterness, with an earthy quality. Overall effect is smooth, refreshing, nicely balanced, pale ale, with a little funk to make it interesting.

Clear light to medium orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, spicy, moderate to heavy yeasty, overripped fruit. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, peppery and spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090811]

Nov 16, 2009 Updated: Nov 17, 2009On draught at Falling Rock Tap House in Denver. The beer is a hazy yellow color with a thin off-white head that dissipates steadily. Rings of lacing. The aroma has herbal notes as well as yeast and hops. Medium body with flavors of yeast, grassy hops, lemon and malt. The finish is moderately spiced and crisp with citrus and honey in the aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Nov 13, 2009 Bottle from Beermerchants.com. Hazy, deep golden with an offwhite head. Complex aroma promising honey, citrus and pine. Honeyish sweetness balanced by piney hop bitterness. Lightish body. A well-crafted Belgian-style blond ale.

Nov 11, 2009 Sampled on draft at Zeno’s in State College PA this beer poured a bright orange-golden color with a small white head that faded quickly. The aroma was sweet fruit cocktail, pear and grapefruit. The flavor was sweet fruit cocktail with a table sugar undertone. The beer turned dry towards the long finish that lingered with grapefruit and pear. Medium body. Good.

Nov 2, 2009 Bottle atleast 1 year old. Pours a cloudy Monet golden wheat color large fluffy white head. Aroma is a slight musty lemon smell, some good malt grain and a slight sugar also, slight aging hop presence. Odd but very enjoyable. Flavor is quite grainy and musty a decent hop bitterness gives a good mouthfeel Not a ton of flavor but very easy drinking and enjoyable could easily drink more
