Pours a clear, reddish amber with white bubbles in lieu of head. Nose is of candied fruit and spice. Taste is is also of spices and candied fruit. By this point, I was fairly intoxicated, so did not have an in-depth observation. Mouthfeel was sweet and alcohol noticeable.

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Dec 15, 2009 Bottle split with tony. Pours a dark murky brown body with a good portion of sediment. Aroma is spice, maybe cinnamon; as well as some herbal scent. Taste is very well balanced as per usual with Lost Abbey. Flavors of malt, spice, sugar, subtle complexity - and of course brilliant alcohol masking... 10%???? TonyDiUlio (186), New Jersey, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Dec 15, 2009 Awesome brew. The pour is a copper haze. Good head. Little lacing. The aroma has some hints of cinnamon. There is also hints of alcohol, malts, and parsley. Very nice. The flavor hides the 10% ABV. Enjoyed with my friend James, my personal beer god.
