Fruity sweet notes wrapped with a touch of malt. Some very slight funk and hints of mild spice. Right about now, I am trying to figure out why I bought 3 bottles of this last year...hmm...okay. Slightly sweet and boozy upfront with some floral and spiciness on the back. Mostly pepper. Touches of wet wool blanket also, but mostly heat.

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Dec 15, 2009 Bottle split with tony. Pours a dark murky brown body with a good portion of sediment. Aroma is spice, maybe cinnamon; as well as some herbal scent. Taste is very well balanced as per usual with Lost Abbey. Flavors of malt, spice, sugar, subtle complexity - and of course brilliant alcohol masking... 10%???? TonyDiUlio (197), New Jersey, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Dec 15, 2009 Awesome brew. The pour is a copper haze. Good head. Little lacing. The aroma has some hints of cinnamon. There is also hints of alcohol, malts, and parsley. Very nice. The flavor hides the 10% ABV. Enjoyed with my friend James, my personal beer god.
