Commercial Description:
Corruption, Greed, and Lust. They're all represented on the hooks of today. Tomorrow, they'll be stinging Gluttony, Desire, and Sloth. Go ahead. Tell yourself you're better than all of them. But you can't. Hell can be funny like that. Down here it's all just sin. Everyone here is screwed just like you. They don't care who you sliced, diced, or cheated. No on is escaping this heinous place. Your roommate is an ax murderer. Eerily, he's not threatening. How can he be? Here, the Fallen Angel owns your body, mind and soul. As such, no one can take your life. It's already been taken. Or was it given? Neither matters. Did you seriously think you were living a virtuous life. At least Satan serves beer in Hell. He brews it himself right there in that flame stoked cauldron. Rumor has it the beer is straw yellow, bone dry and simply labeled Inferno.

660ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki, American Weeks 2009)
Cloudy gold, small head. Slightly sour aroma. Sharp spiky and sour hop taste. The sourness just feels artificial, and is a bit of a mess. Don’t know what this beer was trying to be, but it failed.

0.75 l bottle at Konttori, Tampere. Hazy golden color with creamy head. Apple, herbal hops, clove, pepper and hint of solvent in the aroma. Sweetish spicy flavor with clove, pepper and apple. Smooth mouthfeel. Fairly complex and smooth but slightly too appley.

(Bottled, 0.75l) Clear, deep golden (opaque with yeast)with a smallish, but pillowy head. Pale-malty, slightly yeasty aroma. Slightly acidic flavor of pale malt and orange-pineapple fruitiness (smoother with yeast). Medium-bodied, somewhat carbonated palate. A decent, fruity Duvel clone.

Coles Rare Beer Fest. Aroma was sweet sticky malts but wasnt getting much else in this department even after several attempts. Pours a slightly carbonated light yellow. Taste was sweel malts, Belgian yeastiness, floral notes, honey sweet. Possible may have aged a bit for the worse

Bottle (750ml). At Cole’s Rare Beer Fest, January 2009. I liked this beer well enough, but it seemed pretty run-of-the-mill for LA. Anyway. Clear gold pour with a small white lasting head. Sweetly floral, dry aroma - more yeast and spice sharpness to the flavour, but still quite lightly sweet, with some grassy bitterness added - it seemed like a sticky bier de garde. "Sticky" really does describe the mouthfeel, light-bodied, mostly floral sweet, but the aftertaste is oddly bitter --- again, a decent beer, quite unmemorable by LA standards.

Pours a hazy orange with a frothy and disappearing off white head. Aroma is medium sweet, nicely spiced, yeasty and citric. Flavor is mild spice, yeasty, doughy malt and light alcohol. Finish is dry and very yeasty. lMedium to full bodied, a very enjoyable beer to share with a coupple friends.

2009-01-24. Very lightly hazy pale yellow body with a tiny white head. Modest aroma, light malt, yeast, and alcohol, is surprisingly mild in the nose. Pleasant favour is light on the tongue, modest malts, light hoppy bitterness, hints of florals, light alcohol is prominent but more due to the mild surroundings than its strength. Average plus palate. Fairly average overall impression, nice but just a bit too mild overall to make more of an impression. Bottle at Coles Rare Beer Fest, Buffalo
