Commercial Description:
Corruption, Greed, and Lust. They're all represented on the hooks of today. Tomorrow, they'll be stinging Gluttony, Desire, and Sloth. Go ahead. Tell yourself you're better than all of them. But you can't. Hell can be funny like that. Down here it's all just sin. Everyone here is screwed just like you. They don't care who you sliced, diced, or cheated. No on is escaping this heinous place. Your roommate is an ax murderer. Eerily, he's not threatening. How can he be? Here, the Fallen Angel owns your body, mind and soul. As such, no one can take your life. It's already been taken. Or was it given? Neither matters. Did you seriously think you were living a virtuous life. At least Satan serves beer in Hell. He brews it himself right there in that flame stoked cauldron. Rumor has it the beer is straw yellow, bone dry and simply labeled Inferno.

Bottle. poured a clear medium orange color with a white head. Smelled of clove, yeasty bread dough, and cereal grain. There were also pleasant notes of orange and apricot and a whiff of alcohol. Medium bodied and delicately sweet. The flavor profile included the likes of flowery hops, subdued clove, and light alcohol. Finished dry with mild hop bitterness. Good stuff.

Thanks to kegbear for the bottle!
Hazy gold with a small white head. Nose is very perfume-like with floral and yeast. Flavor has yeast, pepper, some citrus, and a a little alcohol. Thin body, a little watery. Overall decent, but not really my thing.

Hmm, I expected more of a head on this brew for a belgian. Thin wisp of foam that reduces quickly and leaves a bit of sloppy head floating on the surface. Light carbonation. Light fruity aroma with some white grapes, orange peel, a hint of spice and some cereal grains. Light yet refreshing aroma. Appearance is a bright, clear light orange. Body is a bit thin which makes the alcohol even more prominent. Hoppy bitterness, grainy, mild fruit notes and some spice. Finishes a bit dry and pasty with a lingering bitterness. A decent belgian but I expect a bit more malt and body for a belgian strong though.

Sampled Inferno Ale @ the tail end of the World Cafe Live Winterfest. Belgian yeast, dough, malt sweetness & fruit flavors. Enjoyable, not bloated with alcohol.

Pours clear, pale gold, with a one inch head of white fluff. Retention is moderate, and the foam cap sinks slowly to a solid skim coat, leaving behind spongy lacework. Aromatics are slightly spicy, grassy, and earthy. Hints of white pepper, cloves, lemon zest, and flaked corn. Light to medium bodied, crisp and effervescent. A quite lively mouthfeel. Light malt, peppery spice, and clovey phenols lead off the pallet. Warming alcohol, earthy overtones, and hints of grapefruit, lemon and wet hay follow through. Finishes fairly dry and quickly, with warming alcohol and peppery spice. Another solid offering from Tommee, but coming up short at $14 per bottle.

Reviewed 1/1/2009 (bottle): Pours a hazy yellow color body with a humongous craggy white head, very lasting. Extremely floral aroma. Sweet and Belgiany. Sweet spiciness present too, muted. Watery palate, some sweet spiciness. Some hotness present. A nice floral taste, but not a lot, more alcohol. Some alcohol in the nose as it warms up more.
