Lemony grassy aroma with mild yeast. Hint of orange creme pop sweetness with spicy mildly bitter extremely dry finish. Possibly the driest beer I’ve had. Did I say dry? Medium-light body, a touch of thinness, perfect for today at 95 degrees. Excellent. MaltOMeal (652), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 15, 2008 This was golden in color and poured a fluffy white head. The aromas were of lemon rind, flowers, wheat, yeast, herbs and banana. In the mouth it is medium-bodied and very well-balanced. While the nose is rather complex, the flavors in the mourth are fairly simple. The midpalate has nice richness giving way to a dry and bitter finish (almost tannic). | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 14, 2008 Aroma: Sweet malt and fruit (pear?) on the nose
Appearance: Cloudy for the style. dark golden color (not straw), a little dark for the style?
Flavor: Great malt flavor, with a fruity middle (pear?) and a nice hop bitterness in the finish.
Palate: A little undercarbonated, but still bright. Great dry finish!
Overall: Very tasty easy to drink beer. The alcohol (8.5%) is very well hidden. The hops used are a little too long lasting in the finish and not my favorite.
