Commercial Description:
Corruption, Greed, and Lust. They're all represented on the hooks of today. Tomorrow, they'll be stinging Gluttony, Desire, and Sloth. Go ahead. Tell yourself you're better than all of them. But you can't. Hell can be funny like that. Down here it's all just sin. Everyone here is screwed just like you. They don't care who you sliced, diced, or cheated. No on is escaping this heinous place. Your roommate is an ax murderer. Eerily, he's not threatening. How can he be? Here, the Fallen Angel owns your body, mind and soul. As such, no one can take your life. It's already been taken. Or was it given? Neither matters. Did you seriously think you were living a virtuous life. At least Satan serves beer in Hell. He brews it himself right there in that flame stoked cauldron. Rumor has it the beer is straw yellow, bone dry and simply labeled Inferno.

(750ml corked and caged bottle) Pours an opaque orange-yellow color, with a nice pillowy white head that stays a while. Lacing is superb. This is how a beer should look. The nose is of honey, caramel malt, light hops, and spices. The taste is also quite sweet, a malt head’s dream. Since I am a malt head this beer is awesome. The hops do linger on the palette but it’s quite welcome here. Honey is in the taste alongside them and some light white pepper and spicy yeast notes. Bread is also present. I can’t say enough good things about this beer. It’s the beer that started it all for me. I drank many good beers for many years, but I didn’t start appreciating what beer can REALLY be until this was recommended to me by Shawn at the Pizza Port Bottleshop in Carlsbad. A phenomenal American-made Belgian style beer that I recommend everyone to try. As it warms I get more notes of bitter orange oils. This is a very complex beer.

Bottle. Clear golden color with big frothy white head. Aroma of yeast, dough, candi sugar, and fresh baked bread. Taste very bready, with sweet dough and a bit of spice. Creamy medium mouthfeel, nice carbonation. Very tasty!!

Bottle. Moderate aromas of grain and cereal for the malt, grapefruit and lemon for the hops, barnyard for the yeast, with background notes of bubble gum, apple, and allspice. Head is frothy, white, with fair lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is murky light amber/orange. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderately acidic, then the long finish is moderately acidic and bitter and a little sour. Palate is light to medium, watery but a little slick, has a carbonation between lively and fizzy and finishes dry. The strong flavors blend well with each other, this is a well made Belgian Strong Ale.

Clear golden in colour with a long lasting white head, good lacing. The aroma is of spices, yeast, oranges, perfume and quite floral. The flavour has some alcohol, yeast, orange citrus, perfume and flowers. Lightly bitter mouthfeel, medium body, high carbonation. Finishes long and rather spicy, lingering and bitter.

Pretty good but its a little thin in the body, lots of perfume

750ml bottle obtained in a trade with TheCheeseMan, thanks Dan.

Poured clear straw with a white wispy foamy lasting head. Smelled sour like a Belgian Ale. Flavor was slighty yeasty, sweet malty, and lightly citrusy. Pretty good, but not my favorite from Lost Abbey.

Sleightly hazy goden with a white head. Yeasty aroma with some citrus with a sweet flavor containing some tartness and spices. Great for food!
