Commercial Description:
Corruption, Greed, and Lust. They're all represented on the hooks of today. Tomorrow, they'll be stinging Gluttony, Desire, and Sloth. Go ahead. Tell yourself you're better than all of them. But you can't. Hell can be funny like that. Down here it's all just sin. Everyone here is screwed just like you. They don't care who you sliced, diced, or cheated. No on is escaping this heinous place. Your roommate is an ax murderer. Eerily, he's not threatening. How can he be? Here, the Fallen Angel owns your body, mind and soul. As such, no one can take your life. It's already been taken. Or was it given? Neither matters. Did you seriously think you were living a virtuous life. At least Satan serves beer in Hell. He brews it himself right there in that flame stoked cauldron. Rumor has it the beer is straw yellow, bone dry and simply labeled Inferno.

(750ml bottle) Giant rocky off-white head atop hazy sparkling apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, yeasty straw, nectarine/apricot, some orange. Taste is moderately sweet, melon/strawberry, yeasty duskiness, some herbal/straw. Some alcohol, though more of a warming effect than anything astringent. Fairly drinkable given its medium-full body, light effervescence. A rather pleasant beer, very Belgian-y, and nothing as radical as the name suggests.

Bottle. Hazy yellow body with a medium white head. Very fruity aroma with some yeast and hops. Light sour flavour with a spicy and yeasty character. Fresh fruity notes. Medium bodied. Alcohol is well hidden.

750ML 2008 Bottle-Trade w/hellbilly-Hazy golden color w/a fairly large white head. Dry, grassy aroma. Dried spiced flavor, some grain/grass, colander, white pepper, citrus & wheat. Reminded me of a dry Belgian Blond. Good stuff, wasn’t quite what I was expecting after a few of their other brews. Would have drank this one 1st if I realized it was this dry. Good aperitif type brew, Thanks Joshua!!

Pretty good but has a very mild aroma and taste. I think this beer would benefit from a bit of graininess and a touch more hops.

Bottle, thanks to Tronraner. Pours gold with visible carbonation and a massive white head. This is a very dry smelling beer, lots of vinous character. Think sparkling wine. Light spices hit my nose with a dash of herbal tea. The palate is lively and medium bodied. Very dry in the flavor, lots of vinous attitude, and hefty dose of chamomille.

750 mL bottle, split with NachlamSie. Pours hazy gold with big whitish head. The aroma is honey, raw wheat, wood, coriander, cumin, and a sort of vinous alcohol note. The flavor is mellow graininess, some white pepper and coriander, a light orangey note, and a touch of sharp alcohol. The finish is nice and dry, with a wood and light fruit tone that reminds me of a very dry white wine. The aftertaste is nice and warm. This is quite a good beer.

Pours hazy orange with a soapy white head. The aroma is dry, grainy and chalky with light spice, pale malt and a pils-ish trait. Medium body that is grainy with gentle sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with the aroma traits with some fruit - both citrus and nectar notes blended. Overall this is quite dry. The finish has a dry chamomile taste and is powdery. A fine beer that exceeded what I was expecting.

I drank this a couple of weeks ago. Very good and I wish I could find it locally. Lost Abbey beers are similar to Jolly Pumpkin, one of my favorites.
