Medium sized fluffy white head, good retention and fair amount of lace. Hazy, gold colored ale. Nose is lightly spicey, peppery and lightly fruity. Body is med/light with a tingly carbonation, lightly oily on the palate. Lightly sweet malts with more spice notes, lightly grassy and bready with some faint citrus flavors. Lightly sweet malt finish with the aforementioned spiceyness. An easy drinkin Belgian Strong. Thanks to eaglefan for the taste. Thanks Brian!

Jan 6, 2009 Pale yellow, lots of active bubbles, and a thick sticky bright white head. Aroma is soft, some straw, can’t get the granny smith apple until i swirl in the dregs. That really is bone dry. Leathery with faint citrus notes. Alcohol is only noticed much later in my chest, surprising for a beer this delicate. Slightly sour dry wheat finish.

Jan 3, 2009 Bomber at Jerry’s. Pale gold with big, foamy white head / Light, delicate nose of banana and lemon / Light body, hop dry, alcohol well-masked, with good, bitter finish / Flavors of grain, lemon, banana, and dry hops / A summer beer, sort of a cross between a pilsner and a wheat beer.

Jan 2, 2009 750ml bottle. Light color with somewhat of a haze. Some citrus/fruit, and maybe a pear thrown in there. This is my first from the Lost Abbey, and really like this one.

Dec 27, 2008 Light yellow body and lots of lasting white head, with lots of lace left in the glass. A funkly yeast that gives it a funky aroma. Medium mouthfeel, metallic taste. Kind of so-so for the brewer.

Dec 25, 2008 candy sugar nose, hop sweetness palate. straw yellow color, thin head. yeast saves this from being quite boring. this loses points for being a non descript belgian, then gains them back and then some considering its not made in belgium at all. still a bit dull.
