Pours peach gold with a white head. Nose is vinegar, brett, citrus, sour, lemon, and oak. Lots of chardonnay characteristics. Flavor is tart lemon, vinegar, funk, cobweb, a bit of magic, white grapefruit, tang, and oak with lingering sour and biting vinegar. Not as much body as some of the other sours that Cilurzo has made. medium bodied in the mouthfeel. Glad I tried it. sebletitje (1911), Tampa, Florida, USA

The end all be all of sour?
Pours golden with thin white head.
Aroma has a lot sourness in it and fruits, mostly citrus giving it a good sour aroma.
Taste, yeasty, sour with light wood barrel touch and an apple/citrus sourness with notes of champagne for a dry/crisp finish
Was not as sour as many other sours and the mouthfeel remained highly drinkable. A style that takes some getting used to.
Glad to have tried it, and definitely not one that I would pay that much for again. MaltOMeal (652), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA

Mouthfeel is sour with an underlying sweetness. Really tasty and easy to drink. Would love to have another! darkguardian (506), Florida, USA
| 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 20/20 | Mar 25, 2009 22oz bottle thanks to some awesome person at the Chunk and Patriots Throwdown, whoever it was, you seriously rock. Pours a hazy gold with a small quickly diminishing white head. Nose is crazy. Quite acidic but with tons of aromatic wood, and citrus fruits. Flavor is so fantastically satisfying. This is right up there with Consecration but in a totally different way. This beer is fully developed. The sourness is completely in balance with the body, there is some serious oaky vanilla, quite tart and sour citrus flavors, lemon zest and a super dry champagne like finish. This is a seriously outstanding beer. Fin (3415), Merton, Oxfordshire, England

Pours golden with a white head. The aroma is a touch woody, its really sharp, very citric and with a little dash of vine leaves. Taste is funky, sharp, some distinct cider like qualities, a touch of jiffy lemo, I really like this beer. A8 A5 F7 P4 OV15 3.9 cgarvieuk (4177), Edinburgh, Scotland

Pours a cloudy golden orange with a small off white head that transfers in to a ring of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aromas of dusty cobwebs, tart citric acid, some fruitiness and even some meat. Flavors of sour citrus, tart fruit and a dry finish. Palate is medium to full bodied with nice carbonation. Overall a fantastic beer that I wouldn’t mind finding another bottle of. checkmatei1 (630), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Mar 19, 2009 Bottle @ Monk’s: Had this during the Brett Pack dinner during PBW. Wow! Let me start there. Who would have thought 5 of the biggest names in the industry could get together and literally put together a beer like this. This one poured a light orange color with a small amount of head. The aroma was citrus, oak, acetic acid and some grass. The flavor was smooth, lemon, tart, apples, grass, flowers, yeast, and vinegar. Overall, I feel privileged to be able to taste this brew as it is truly a one of a kind. Awesome!
