750 ml bottle. Clear golden color with a thin, white, bubbly head. Aroma of tart lemon, grass, and some funk. Flavor is such a wonderful treat. A perfect mix of tartness, maltiness, and funk. Notes of pears, lemon, and some oak. Level of acidity and astringency is spot on. Finish is unbelievably dry. A masterpiece!

A headless a highly cloudy gold pour which is not particularly attractive is quickly forgotten as its aromas start to deploy. A complex and fabulously authentic offering which effortlessly bring forth a clean and cracker-like maltiness that joins into the cidery, lactic, very good acidity level. White grapefruit, lemon and apple trait are all well-blended. This is pure and spot on lambic greatness with full-on dry champaign character and cleansing carbonation. Very little residual sugars in there. A spectacular experiment in every sense.

Another hit shared by none other than Yaniv! Hazy golden brownish yellow with almost no head. Wowo! Dog poop, horse blanket and astringent nose. A bit of straw. Citrusy, lemon. Carbonated lightly, light body, but not watery. Biting tartness. Dry dry straw. Yogurty horse blanket. Lingering tannins and extremely acidic. Very refereshing and quite nice.

(26oz bottle) Courtesy of Irishboy. Amazing trader, amazing Ratebeerian. Thanks Richard. Hazy lemon. Very tart, white wine and faded sour cherries. Really ingenious. 8/4/8/4/17

This was a very special bottle. There were a lot of great quirks that were present in the taste of this beer. Not super sour, not super funky, not super anything really. However, there was something about it that really made it special. Perhaps it was how clean the palate was.

Bottle thanks to ang at chris o’s xmas08 tasting. Aroma is very acidic and lemon, woody and lemon. Taste is like lemon juice, like i could have mistaken it for a lemon sour ale, again woody. Very drinkable stuff, however its a bit one dimentional and head to head with girardain black label, well there was one clear winner.

Bottle from FlacoAlto, thanks! Orange blonde color. Lemon, leather and just a hint of melon in the aroma. Lemony sour flavor with limone and pineapple. Dry out effect. Melon in the aftertaste. Just a hint of oak, but the fruit is dominant. Loved it!
