Isabelle is a beautiful blond with elegance and class. She smells like a flower and tastes like a fruity wine. It’s appearance seems plain but it cam be deceiving with its bite. It’s no sipping beer.

From a 750ml bottle Pours pale/white in color, very cloudy with a small almost head. Smells of lemons, fruit and tart. First sip is pure lemons. Very bitter, sour and tart. Pucker up your lips for this is one fine sour ale. A strong bitter finish, nicely bodied with above average carbonation. So very nice.

Cheers to Morgan for sharing this! Pours blonde with a fast bubbling wispy head, leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Cheesy, farmhouse, funky and incredibly tart on the nose. Pretty spot on for a gueuze. In the mouth, very tart, sour, quite puckering, lemon, some cheesy hops and oak come through. Super dry on the palate, very light with the carbonation leaving it sparkling. Nice strong acidity. This was pretty tremendous.

75 cL bottle, trade with WeeHeavySD - thanks Jon. Pours hazy yellow with a lacing white head. Dense citric and barnyard aroma. Acidic and yet smooth. Milky and acidic with a smooth orange fruity base flavour. Dry and acidic, smooth and woody. Tart finish with a lovely dry wooden note. Elegant and smooth yet bone dry.8-3-9-3-18=4.1

From bottle, blind #11, courtesy of thewolf. Pours clear and golden yellow with a fully gone head. Dry barnyard aroma. Acidic, sour and mild fruity flavoured. Acidic and dry finish. Smooth and brett with a lot of sourness, distinct smooth like a 3 Font. and complex sour like a Cantillon - but also distinct US-sour.8-4-8-4-17=4.1

Bottle, 7.0%. Very nice sour aroma. Fruity sourness, fat fruits, perhaps peach. Cloudy orange colour. Good citric flavour, some orange, good rough sourness. Lemon aftertaste. Very nice.
