750ml bottle, pours a hazy but bright golden yellow with a fizzy white head, some spotty sheet of lacing. Aroma is intense, with lots of sour and funk, notes of lemon, dried citrus - tart, sour and citrusy in near perfect harmony. This beer takes the sour, tart and citrus right to the edge of overboard and holds the line nicely. An incredible balance of intensity and delicacy that is very, very nice. Great stuff, and well worth the reputation!

A slightly cloudy pour, no mentionable head. Aroma is of tart green apple, lemon, lime and grapefruit. Flavor wise, this is the best sour beer I have had to date....granted, I have not had many of them. It’s sour like a face smacker and the long lingering finish slower turns mildly sweet. This is a very complex beer, it would be interesting to have this with someone more attuned to sours so that I could learn the nuances.

Cloudy golden in color with a thin lacy white head. Smell is sour, tart fruitiness, and some good funkiness. Medium and bone dry. Great smell. Taste is sour, some acidity, fruits, good balance of the sourness.

Outstanding! Absolutely, positively deckodent!
Golden blond hue, and aroma that makes my sinus pucker… a plum wine and green apple vinegar acidity that almost makes the new batches of Cantillon Gueze seem like a child’s apple juice. This is a remarkable interpretation of a truly classic style of beer!
WELL DONE to ALL that embarked!

RBSG 2008. One after another, these incredible beers keep being poured. Tart apricot nose, dried pineapple, some lemon, and a nice acidity to bring it all together. Dry palate with a spicy and bretty finish. Medium sourness and a floral citrus note to the finish.

First sampled at Made in The Shade (thanks Matt!). This bottle shared with Rustychiles. Pours a supernatural golden orange color (reminds me of delirium tremens). Very little head. Smells of sour/acetic acid, funk, lemon, grass. Taste is a beautifully balanced meld of sour, orange, grapefruit, lemon, amongst other yet to be named tastes. Truly an experience.

Bottles picked up from brewery for me by FlacoAlto. Thanks a TON dude. I owe you one! Pours a hazy golden color with a small white frothy head with nice lacing. Aroma of lemon, sour, funk, grass. Flavor is sour, acidic, lemon, asprin, cheesy, fruity, pepper, metal and above all delicious. The complexity is amazing in this one.

Pours an effervescent transparent deep golden with white spotty-lacing froth. Aroma of complex light fruits and lemony citrus with a nice balance of funky hay and brett. Body starts with good fullness and pleasant malty sweetness with a great citric tart balance and drier crisp semi-sour finish. Smooth and very well balanced throughout with vinous oaky complexity. Another great brew from some of the world’s best brewers!
