sample from 750ml bottle shared by GandGKevin. pours a bright, slightly hazy, yellow gold with a big, bubbly white head and solid lacing. aroma is wonderful with big, bretty yeast notes, lemon rind, mildly sour red fruits, and a hint of herbal hops. flavor is outstanding with a big hit of tart, sour citrus up front, with underlying, slightly sweet yeast notes, and tart blackberries in the background with a lovely, dry citrus finish. palate was bright, crisp, and highly carbonated and a pleasure to drink. overall, simply a great beer i’m glad i had the opportunity to try.

WOW!!!! Bottle generously donated by Kelly! Absolutly one of the best brett beers I’ve ever tasted. Very well balanced. A lemon zesty sour ale with a hint of barnyard. LOVED IT!!!!!

Bottle. Aroma very funky with horseblanket, yogurt, pineapple, competing notes of citrus and other tropical fruits. Flavor opens up more with the tropical fruit notes, bitingly acidic grapefruit, peach, mango, oddly a similar profile to many IPAs, except incredibly acidic instead of powerfully bitter. Funkiness primarily in the yogurt range with maybe a bit of leather is also strong at first, but after a couple ounces, is just drowned out on my tongue by the sourness and acidity. This is an interesting one to rate, as if I had only had a 2 oz. or so sample (as opposed to 400-500 mls), I’d bet my rating would be very high. The same could probably be said if I had rated this a year+ ago when I wanted to smack my mouth with enormous sourness. But right now for me, from a full serving, it became a bit wearing to drink despite all the great aroma/flavor notes. ...But despite that, still hard for me to justify giving practically any solid sour such as this all that low a score...

Bottle thanks to JB175 (thanks Jason!). I’ve been waiting to try this beer for some time now...anyway, it pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of sweettart candies and a lot of funk (definite yogurty notes, sweaty socks, and horseblanket). Flavor is tart and super sour upfront with citrus, sour grapefruit, and bubblegum. A bit too sour/acidic for my liking. Definitely very similar in taste to a lambic-gueuze. I would have like a little more dryness and less acidity. 7/4/8/3/15 (3.7/5)

Consumed many times. Hazy yellow gold w no head. Funky sour brett aroma leather horseblanket. Tart and sour, lots of funk. Pretty clean tartness, just long and sour. Lingerint tartness. Some funky leftovers. Almost quenching and an interesting palate cleanser during Hard Liver.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow body with a creamy white head. Very fruity aroma with a distinct tart sour kick. Oh so cheesy flavour with lots of citric notes that stays in your mouth forever. A fresh sour kick finish the great sour. Its amazingly balanced. Funky, cheesy and smooth.
