Commercial Description:
A life worth living is full of discovery and we are reminded everywhere there is opportunity. All it takes is desire to seek out and find these things, these moments and everything in between. We brewed Lost and Found Abbey Ale to pay homage to the great monastic breweries of Belgium. Like us, we hope you’ll take the time to discover a beer that breathes aromas of figs, raisins and candied fruits. Please join us by raising your glass as we offer a toast to patience, perseverance, and all the things we have lost along the way and were somehow lucky enough to find once again.

750mL shared into tulips. Courtesy of Shyam.

Pours muddy, super cloudy brown with a two-finger yellowish tan head that settles down quickly to a nice protective layer. Actually, this beer is 100% opaque light brown. It looks like straight up mud. Aroma of figs, homemade apple pie, apple danish. No lacing. Taste is very dry throughout with dry cocoa powder. There are also notes of spiced apples, Chambord, Grand Mariner, some oak, cherries. Some warming from the 8%. Creamy, rich mouthfeel. Yum.

Dark chestnut amber with thick tan head. Aroma is raisins, cherries, ginger, and other spices. Taste is the same with a rich and mildly vinous fruit component, and slight warming alcohol into the finish. Extra-high carbonation makes this drink a bit like a milkshake. $10/750ml

Pours a huge head, crazy foam. Aroma of spice, candy, some apple. First sip is biting- heavy carbonation...Need to let it settle down. Rich, chocolate, coffee, sweet and malty flavors, with spice and raisin. Like eating a thick slice of dark brown candied bread. Enjoyed it.

Bottle. High creamy and long lasting off-white head. Hazy dark amber body. Apple pear plum raisin caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel raisin flavor with a good deal of hops bitterness and a hint of alcohol as well as a spicy note. Pretty carbonated and a long bittersweet aftertaste.
