| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 2, 2008 750 mL corked bottle. Poured hazy brownish red. Dissapointingly undercarbonated, appeared flat. Yeast and other sediment visible at the bottom of the glass. Flavor is fantastic, loaded with sweet malt, figs, and tons of raisins and some slight fruity esters. Just a touch of warming alcohol evident. Definitely worth revisiting. kyzr (1122), Belgrade, Montana, USA

Dark fruits and dusty malt are presented first, followed by Belgian spiciness. The flavor is a rather well blended combo of dark fruit, raison/figs, malts, Belgian spices, and a light amount of yeast. Very smooth and easy drinking.
