Commercial Description:
A life worth living is full of discovery and we are reminded everywhere there is opportunity. All it takes is desire to seek out and find these things, these moments and everything in between. We brewed Lost and Found Abbey Ale to pay homage to the great monastic breweries of Belgium. Like us, we hope you’ll take the time to discover a beer that breathes aromas of figs, raisins and candied fruits. Please join us by raising your glass as we offer a toast to patience, perseverance, and all the things we have lost along the way and were somehow lucky enough to find once again.

Bottle via Bmartin08!! Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma is raisins, prunes, plums, caramel. Flavor is figs, brown sugar, dried dark fruits, some chocolate, and some spice. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, sweet malty finish. This is a great brew, some alcohol warmth, and hoppy notes in the finish.

light brown with a huge tan head. Strong belgian yeast character. Lots of dried fruit, some spice. Finishes with decent carbonation. Nice to get a good bottle of this.

On tap/bottle many times. Had a pint last weekend at the Neighborhood and realized that I hadn’t rated this one. Im not a huge fan of dubbel’s, but this is pretty good stuff. Dark brown color, nice aroma of fruit and yeast. Flavor is nice, dominated by raisin and prune with a touch of alcohol.

On first crack, it smells like you just opened a box of SunMaids... and it pours a completely opaque amber with some tan head that sticks around. On first taste, its like Fig Newtons with some raisins...but it finishes on a bitter, hoppy note.Good stuff!

750ml caged and corked bottle. Pours murky brown with a glimmer if red, small tan head. Smells of toffee, dough, dark fruit, caramel, light spice. Taste is the same but fruitiness is more prevalent. Good dubbel but doesn’t hold up to the Belgian examples.
