| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Oct 17, 2008 Bottle from South Bay Drug. Hazy orange golden color with a fluffy, creamy off-white head. Aromas of mild spice, mild light fruits and mild funk. Medium body with foamy, creamy carbonation. Flavor is astringent spice, some coriander?, some funk. It is both sweet and lightly sour. It is both hoppy and funky. It is a masterpiece. I think there’s a touch of apricot in the finish. I could go on and on. GAManiac (1193), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 17, 2008 Pours a slightly hazy gold with a fluffy white head that receded to a small cap leaving decent lacing. The aroma is big on Belgian yeast and spices. There is only a hint of funk, but not much, it’s mostly light grains and some light citrus hops. The taste has a good citrus hop kick up front which fades into the grains and some Belgian yeast. There is abundant spices in the taste as well. The mouthfeel is light with lots of carbonation and very crisp. This is decent saison but not the best from Port. marcus (1896), Sacramento, California, USA
