On tap with all the others at the Red Poppy release. Great cloudy orange amber color. Smells sweet tart funky. Igot lost in the awesome nose of it. The taste is a combitation of sweet sour and tart. There is some candy-like sweetness and cherries in there. It seems to make my mouth salivate a ton as I am drinking it. My mouth seemed dry when I finished a drink because of that characteristic. Liked it a lot.

Tap at the Red Poppy release. This was a really tasty beer. Slightly dry aroma, very fragrent. Tart taste, not overly sour and acidic, very drinkable and quite excellent.

On tap at the Red Poppy release. Pours hazy yellow with no head. Funky and sweet aroma. Tastes like Isabelle tart-wise but much sweeter and fruiter.

Forgot to rate this gem from the 2008 Barrel tasting. Hazy golden with just a tad of head. Sour sweet aromas. Very smooth and lasting on your palate. Great lemon, grapefruit flavors. Solid sour presence. Another impressive beer.

On tap at 2nd annual barrel tasting. This was my fav of the night...so awesome. Soft, elegant palate...dry, tart, with a touch oak and stickiness - citrus zest. This is exactly how I like a lambic/sour.

Sampled at 08 barrel night. Hazy yellow pour with a thin white head. Pretty formidable funk aroma with sweet notes. Pretty tart and dry mouthfeel with flavors dominated by citrus. It definitely smooths out after a couple sips. Damn good beer.

Sampled at the 2008 Lost Abbey Barrel Tasting. Probably my favorite beer of the event. Cloudy yellow color with low to medium carbonation. Nice light and lacy white head. Sweet, funky and slightly peppery acidic aroma. Similar to Isabelle Proximus, however more tart and with more oak character. Mellowed barrel flavors of hay, soil, lemon rind, wood and funk. Very sour, but pleasantly sour finish. This could be an awesome gueuze addition considering the tartness. Extremely drinkable despite the acidity. Great stuff.
