| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 26, 2008 Bottle: Pours an effervescent golden with a thick dense, pillowy white head. Aroma is citrusy with orange marmalade, honey, a peppery yeast and a spice note- of bay leaf? Fluffy and crisp carbonation. The flavor has some orange zest which meshes with a mineral-like note. Dusty phenols and lots of herbal spiciness comes through as well. A crisp wheat touch is also detectable with American hop spiciness to dry it out. Remains dry, yet it’s a touch mineraly to me. Still a solid Saison, highly drinkable. Rciesla (3621), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 24, 2008 Bottle and on draft at monks. Pours an orange pale cloudy body with a 2 finger white head. Upfront with lots of coriander and citrus peel light ginger and pepper spice. Dry with a bitter finish. Great stuff esp for a regular offering. tjthresh (1770), Greenfield, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 15, 2008 Pours murky yellow orange with a lasting white head. Fluffy with some decent lace left behind. The aroma smells like a citrus soap, with a tad of peppery spice. The flavor has the same citrus spice as in the aroma with a bit of doughy flour flavor. Mild and drinkable though. Things are a bit more assertive in the finish. Medium to full body with lilce carbonation and a perfume dry finish. A fine beer, but not something I will seek again. ghawener (960), San Salvador, El Salvador

Musty, earthy notes in the nose with orange and spices. Nice citrus flavors of orange and lemon. Yeast, spice, and tart fruitiness. Very drinkable saison, without too much of the soapiness that taints others. daknole (2937), Plantation, Florida, USA
