Lemon grass and yeast that is a bit dry and spicy. A little funky. Finishes off with a note of alcohol and yeast. decaturstevo (2009), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2007 On tap on a bag of grain on a barrell. A hazed golden pour with a creamy white head. An aroma of Belgian yeast that is large on corriander. Creamy flavor of clove, ginger, and other spices with a light bitter finish that is more than a little pleasant. Palate is a bit thin but other than that solid. Another very good offering. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, Cambodia
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2007 Updated: May 12, 2008Cloudy bright peach color, small white head. Strong effervescence with loads of little bubbles, fluffy crown of head. Smells like Unibroue’s yeast, sweetish. Fruit-forward with orange and other citrus, some pink grapefruit. Big palate explodes in the mouth with creamy goodness. Thick but not highly carbonated, a little slick. Flavor and nose are both perfumy. Nuanced and complex: combination of sweet, bitter, spicy, and sour. Many flavors here. Lots of citrus pith. Dry tart finish. A little soapy but a clean finish and fun to drink. nahthan (129), Oakland, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 6, 2007 Nice golden color.. The cork pulled a little weak, making me question how well it was bottle conditioned, but the smell is good and the carbonation is appropriate (but maybe a little bit low for the style?). I’m certainly not complaining about the carbonation either way. Nice spicy smell, I can definitely smell the yeast. Alcohol and spices come through in the nose as it warms up a little bit more. The finish is almost too clean for me. I would like a little bit more esters. hops definitely are way in the background. Nice beer, I’d like to try more from this brewery. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 2, 2007 On tap at Neoghborhood. Remarkable holds a head in a chalice. Gold color with a triple-like banana flavor with typical Saison light white pepper spiceness. There’s a nice dry quality that makes this a tasty little Saison. Just a bit sweet. heylrule (46), Maryland, USA

I will try again though. Great smell. Taste was just alittle off seemed to leave a bad after taste in my mouth. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 23, 2007 Nice little saison, pours gold, very cloudy, with a tall white head. Very hoppy, and bitter for a saison, nice floral nose of grapefruit, pepper, spices. Crisp on the palate with a long lingering spiciness.
