Commercial Description:
The history of the bible and religion is indeed the struggle of good vs. evil. Our Serpent’s Stout recognizes the evil of the dark side that we all struggle with. This is a massively thick and opaque beer that begs the saints to join the sinners in their path to a black existence.

Another old rating. Poured black with a nice chocolate and coffee aroma to this. A little sweet and a nice smooth roastiness.

Growler fill from brewery. Pours an opaque dark brown, basically black with a thin head of delicious-looking chocolate colored head. Sweet yet mellow aroma of roasted malts with hints of chocolate. Roasty and somewhat sweet taste of good bittersweet chocolate, light roasted coffee, and licorice. The alcohol presence is there, but is neither overpowering nor unpleasant. Mouthfeel is a bit "lighter" than some other notable beers in this style.

750ml bottle thanks to brewboy1. Pour black with dark tan head. Aroma is heavy with roasted malt, chocolate and some coffee. Flavor is again heavy with roasted malt. Nice balance of chocolate, coffee, licorice and some dark fruits. Bit of booze in the finish. Nice mouthfeel and is a little dry due to all the roasted malt. Nice solid stout. Have another bottle in the cellar that I will let age a little.

dark black color with thin layer of reddish tan head. Aroma is high octane port. Palate is rich and chewy with a roasted molasses and fruity flavor. Very complex finish with a just right amount of hoppy bitterness to balance out the rich chewy taste and high alcohol content.
