Commercial Description:
The history of the bible and religion is indeed the struggle of good vs. evil. Our Serpent’s Stout recognizes the evil of the dark side that we all struggle with. This is a massively thick and opaque beer that begs the saints to join the sinners in their path to a black existence.

Fad: Kulsort øl med en lille skumkrone. Duft af kaffe, chokolade og en lille smule lakrids. Humlen giver en fin fin bitterhed i en meget afbalanceret øl. Fantastisk.

75cl bottle at VV tasting, Odense. Pours pitch black with a creamy brown head. Nose is cocoa powder, roast, chocolate and vague hints of smoke. Very complex. Each element stand out on its own. Smooth, oily, vinous, sticky and full bodied. Liquorice and dark fruits. A very fine brew!

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Black with a small pale brown head. Dense, roasty and fruity aroma of dark chocolate, prunes, figs, anise and and licorice. Full-bodied and chewy with notes of melting chocolate, figs, prunes, dark cherries, anise and black sweet coffee. Long chewy and anise-seeds. Dense a bit cloyingly sweet finish of dark chocolate, prunes, brown sugar. Definitely not worth the ridiculously high price tag....

Bottle, thanks to Weine. Pours a black color with a nice beige head. Aroma is nice with lots of dark chocolate, liquorice, burnt malt, some tar and light fruitiness. Very nice flavour also with some roasted coffee notes, dark chocolate, liquorice and fruits. A bit dry with pretty light bitterness, more balanced, roasted and fruitier than some other american imperial stouts. Impressive full body, thick, creamy and smooth mouthfeel. Just another good one.

Black with a lasting light brown head. Chocolate and licorice and some vineous alcohol in the aroma. Dryish roasted flavour with a strong alcohol note.

Bottle. Thanks Melissa. Incredible. Poured jet black with creamy chocolate brown head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts and coffee. Taste is really spectacular, roasted malt, mild coffee, dark chocolate. Soft creamy body, flavors are extremely balanced. Finishes with mild bitterness. Flawless!
