Commercial Description:
The history of the bible and religion is indeed the struggle of good vs. evil. Our Serpent’s Stout recognizes the evil of the dark side that we all struggle with. This is a massively thick and opaque beer that begs the saints to join the sinners in their path to a black existence.

Tap/ Pours with a black color and a brownish head. Aromas of roasted malts and some coffee. Flavors are evry intense of dark chocolate predominantly, some nuts and some coffee. Alcohol is well hidden and the beer is quite smooht with a silken palate.

Bottle from South Bay. The most impressive things are the thick texture and the very silky smoothness. Nose is like a semisweet dark chocolate brownie. Flavors of chocolate malt and deep Tootsie Roll. Sharpish finish. Would like to have seen a more Belgian influence, but I won’t claim this ain’t a tasty beer.

On tap at Naked City. Pours black with a thin brown head. Coffee and dark chocolate in the nose. Alcohol is well-hidden by the chocolate maltiness. Nice thick mouthfeel.

Very nice stout. On tap at O’Briens. Black pour, thick tan head. Coffee, dark bitter chocolate, plums, molasses, dark fruit, roasted malt, and smoke. The mouth feel is thick and creamy. Tasty brew.

Bottle: Near black pour with a huge, frothy brown head. Well carbonated for sure. Aroma of roast and chocolate. Light coffee. Sweet and chocolatey with a deep roastiness and more coffee. Nice and smooth. Creamier than expected with the high carbonation. Finished quite well. Thanks sparky27!

C&C 750. Pours jet black with a big brown head. Big chocolate nose, some yeastiness and a touch of fruit. Rather sweet, chocolate and mild coffee, some fruitiness - like a foreign stout. Excellent.

750ml bottle. Pitch black pour with a light brown head. Slightly sweet, dark fruit aroma. Hint of alcohol in there as well. Slightly smokey, a little bit of coffee in the as well. Very smooth and drinkable despite the 11%, good stuff.
