A deep red-brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet and acidic with notes of brettanomyces, acetone, lacto, wood, and lots of fruit. The flavor is acidic actually quite sour with strong notes of fruit and medium notes of brettanonmyces, berries - sour cherries, wood, and acetone, leading to a dry, tart, and woody finish. The acidity draws out the moutwater. Had it at the brewery, which is the rating that stands, and blind with a rating of 8/3/8/4/16=3.9 Papsoe (14982), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Citric and medium bodied. Spritzy with lots of red berries. Fresheneing and complex where the buttery malt sweetness is well balanced by the citric lactic acidity. It also possesses a caramelly Belgian style yest character that stays in the background. Very drinkable, yet mindblowingly complex and tasty! yespr (12105), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Quite nice Bretts aroma, mild, with cobwebs, cellar, very mild chocolate too. The body is quite strong, more than the average Lambic; there is a strong lemony sourness, with some astringency too, that fits well, here; strangely the hidden flavor is chocolate. Extreme. Quite good.
