bottle, rating #800!!! This bottle came from beastiefan2k. Wow what an experience this beer is. A nice brown pour leads to the best smelling beer I have ever smelled. As three friends and I sipped this aromas were described as vanilla, bourbon, oak, pecan pie, raisins, prunes, molasses, and more. The flavr is just beautiful. Sweetness and touches of bourbon are married seamlessly. The vanilla, raisins and maple syrup come out wonderfully. An amazing beer.

Courtesy SoLan, he rocks for sharing this! Big oaky aroma, touches of vanilla and musky sweaty locker room. Deep brown color. Fuzzy carbonation overtakes the palate at first but further in a big oakiness takes over, with some deep dark caramel and touches of bourbon. Finish is sem-sweet. Heady aroma, some sweet alcohols waft here and there. Deep raisiny character becomes apparent. The more I smell this the more it infects my soul.

Bottle (375ml) shared with HogTownHarry & tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Wow, what a rare treat!! Pours a very dark brown with an average size somewhat-lasting fluffy light-brown head. Good lacing on the glass. Nice aroma of caramel malt, vanilla, oak, lots of bourbon, brown sugar, molasses and more. Thick, sweet, malty flavour with lots of bourbon, some fruit, oak, vanilla, hops and alcohol. Creamy mouthfeel. Medium bodied. This is a fantastic beer but it’s also a BIG beer, so even though it comes in a small bottle, you’ll want to share it. Thanks for sharing Harry!

(375ml) Thanks to Enniskillen for sharing. Pours a thin, white dissipating head atop a brown copper body. Nose of burnt brown sugar, wood chips, molasses and soya sauce. Flavour of solid stout, sour cherries, iodine, toffee. Good. 8/4/8/4/17

Cask at GBBF08. Good roasted aroma, some vanilla, and a vinous hint. Very dark brown colour, small frothy light brown head. The flavour is quite strong and alcoholic, but also sweet enough to balance it. Again plenty of vanilla. Sweet vinous aftertaste with some burning alcohol.
